The Whittlesea Council Program was created to develop the young leaders in the Whittlesea community.

In 2017 & 2018 we worked alongside the Whittlesea Council and “Baseline” their youth services team to run two 4-day residential camps for participants aged between 14-17, followed by a 5 week mentor program and Community Action Project Day.

The programs were focused on working with the individuals to establish their own leadership styles while fostering strong relationships with the whole group.

The Community Action Project Day’s were an opportunity for the young people to put the skills they developed on the program into action, and gather donated sporting goods from the local community. In total over 6,000 individual items were donated to “Boots 4 All” to be distributed to communities in need across Australia and dissolve barriers to sport.
