Game Changers Australia are proud to partner with the Rye, Dromana, Rosebud Your Community Bank.

23rd September – 10th December 2017

The Your Community Bank Sports Leadership Program is a powerful and transformative experience for young athletes of the Mornington Peninsula region.  Similar to Game Changers’ flagship program Captains Camp, the Your Community Bank Sports Leadership Program develops the all round athlete.

The program has a unique curriculum based on contemporary research on authentic leadership, resilience, growth mindset and high performance. Specifically, the program includes workshops on sports psychology, strength and conditioning, nutrition workshops, effective communication and much more.

The program is available to athletes aged 15 – 17 from sporting clubs currently sponsored by the Rye, Dromana, Rosebud Community Bank.

This is a unique opportunity only available to a small number of clubs.

Please note:
There are a maximum of 50 places available.
Each club can nominate a maximum of two athletes.
Our organisation is committed to diversity and inclusion, and we encourage you to consider this when nominating candidates. For equal gender representation, we ask that each club nominates one male and one female athlete.

The value of this program is $600 per athlete.
The Your Community Bank are sponsoring each athlete $500 to subsidies the cost of their participation.
Each club is required to pay $100 per participant to cover campsite and food costs.

This program requires 100% attendance for all program dates, including camp, Community Action Project, fortnightly mentor sessions and graduation.

It is our preference that you make contact with a mentor before the first camp. Once applicants have been confirmed, they will receive more information about sourcing a mentor.

That’s okay! This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded peers and expand your friendship group.

Thanks to Bendigo Bank, this program is subsidised in cost. However, the $100 contribution will cover food and accommodation for the entirety of the program.
